It never ends...

I pulled in the reins when the article reported that Chisholm returned to Canada in 1917. If the writer erred in reporting that date, and he returned at the end of the war (late 1918-1919, then a reasoned discussion of his views can proceed. (The writer does not mention whether he might have been injured enough that he could not return to combat.) However, I presume that the author researched the article and accurately reported that Chisholm returned home while thousands were still on their way to the fighting, without physically mitigating circumstances.

This suggests to me either some form of shirking duty (the worthiness of that War to End All Wars not part of the present discussion) or mental dislocation, such as PTSD. In this case, any paradigm shift is suspect, and even returning from the war honorably may have contributed to a rejection of traditional thought patterns. In the cases of C.S. Lewis and G.K. Chesterton, traumatic WWI war experiences led to deeper understanding of humanity's corruption and eventually to their powerful understanding of God's place and His authority to establish His moral authority. Unfortunately for Chisholm and for us, that part of the twentieth century was infused by the godless ideas of people like Neitszche and Freud, and gave currency to the godless amorality of the Lenins, Stalins, and Hitlers of the rest of the century and beyond. Contemporaneously, the Judeo-Christian concept of legitimate morals in a legitimate moral system was tossed out with the bathwater as claims by "science" that God had been debunked gained acceptance. For the most part, the world has yet to recover a proper understanding of God and why morality stands where "amorality" must fall.

This article gave me a new topic to ponder - "amorality" which through its lack of moral principles creates people that are amoral, that lack any moral sense, which leads to immoral attitudes and behavior - which is the precursor to the actions of Evil. To name but a few:

• an amoral attitude to abortion

• an amoral attitude to assassinations

• an amoral attitude to civil wars

• an amoral attitude to corruption

• an amoral attitude to disinformation

• an amoral attitude to eugenics

• an amoral attitude to frauds

• an amoral attitude to genocide

• an amoral attitude to lies

• an amoral attitude to life

• an amoral attitude to propaganda

• an amoral attitude to sex

• as amoral attitude to war

So the Evil that rules humanity has been on a mission to destroy religions since they started destroying the religious rabbis in the Jewish community in 1666 with Sabbati Zevi's program of Redemption through Sin, which has created millions of amoral, secular Zionist Ashkenazi (in name only) Jews, who are the evil bastards running Israel today and responsible for the Gaza Ghetto Genocide, and pushing us all towards WW3 by setting the Middle East on fire.

And then the same group created communism to use it as a weapon to destroy the Christian Empire and Emperor of Russia - Czar Nicholas, who was competition to the British Zionist faction of the Roman Empire Cartel, along with the Chinese dynasty which they started destroying with the Opium wars, flooding China with narcotics to destroy society, strip the wealth and put the Profit From Harms business model proven with the tobacco industry to work. Communism's greatest benefit for the Evil that rules humanity is it puts all the psychopaths into play, especially the Ashkenazi Sabbati Zevi zealots.

Next we see the destruction of the religious morality of the Roman Catholic Church, with Vatican 1, Vatican 2, and now the Marxist-Woke Pope Francis tearing the church down from the throne of Rome!!!!

All of this is to let the useful idiots for Evil come into play.

That is a salient comment! As far as Vatican 1, December 8, 1869, to September 1, 1870, that was more about “Papar Infalabiliy” than morals. Even Vatican 2, which was more of an attempt to “modernize” the church, was hijacked by an amoral “spirit” afterward. Looking forward to your essay!

Claiming popes are infallible is the height of evil.

I am long over the Roman Catholic Church, it a weapon of the Roman Empire Cartel that is waging War Against Humanity, and their religion was created to rob humanity of their agency and make them humble little slaves. Remember it was only the elites of the elites and the priests of the Monarchy Imperial Cults that could read and write or write books, the 99% got their information from the priests. The whole religion and the Bible had a dual fold purpose -endless dogma telling the people to behave, but huge sections explaining how the elites could wage war!!!!

ALERT: The Supreme Court just lit a match and tossed it into dozens of federal agencies

https://www.vox.com/scotus/357554/supreme-court-sec-jarkesy-roberts-sotomayor-chaos

On Thursday, the Court handed down a 6-3 decision, on a party-line vote, that could render a simply astonishing array of federal laws unenforceable. As Justice Sonia Sotomayor writes in dissent, “the constitutionality of hundreds of statutes may now be in peril, and dozens of agencies could be stripped of their power to enforce laws enacted by Congress.”

The dispute in Securities and Exchange Commission v. Jarkesy turns on whether a hedge fund manager accused of defrauding investors is entitled to a jury trial to determine whether he violated federal securities law, or whether the government acted properly when it tried him before an official known as an “administrative law judge” (ALJ).

The charges against this hedge fund manager, George Jarkesy, are civil and not criminal, which matters because the Constitution treats civil trials very differently from criminal proceedings. While the Sixth Amendment provides that “in all criminal prosecutions” the defendant is entitled to a jury trial, the Seventh Amendment provides a more limited jury trial right, requiring them “in suits at common law” (more on what that means later).

SEC v. Jarkesy could render much of the federal government unable to function.

Congress, moreover, has enacted a wide range of laws on the presumption that many enforcement proceedings may be brought before administrative law judges and not juries. According to one somewhat dated review of federal law cited by Sotomayor, “by 1986, there were over 200” federal statutes calling for trials before ALJs.

Chief Justice John Roberts’s majority opinion in Jarkesy leans heavily into the kind of remedy available to the SEC if it prevails in a suit before an ALJ. Like a suit before a common law court, the SEC sought monetary damages from Jarkesy, and thus this case resembles a suit at common law in that way. As Roberts writes, “money damages are the prototypical common law remedy.”

He said, according to the article, that with the swell new methods of our science guys we are finally free from "right and wrong" bullshit and now all up to date and modern "...and [we] are able to think freely"

Think freely about WHAT? Withour our morals you don't have anything left to think about. Some random, disconnected "fact"? Factoids crash like asteroids do. If we think, we can understand this. There are an absolutely "infinite" number of disembodied, amoral "factoids" in the world. But how do we make sense of all of that? The nefarious science clique has actually discovered a pitiful few of these facts or factoids ---but suddenly they are ready to drop the whole morality thing.

Oh, how I love ta "t'ink" about random factoid 1,000, 001,199! Gonna publish on this, too!

And those in power thought they were brilliant. Ugh! And we wonder why reality is inverted. All Marx did was invert Christianity, invert Capitalism and voila! All the current Regime has done is invert Trump and voila! Anyone who has a scintilla of respect for truth can see our culture has been turned upside down. A group of unidentified suspects in North Carolina assaulted a family and ransacked their home in a nightmarish incident involving duct tape and hot butter knives.

Harnett County Sheriff’s officers responded to the scene around 2am on June 15 in Spout Springs, near Fayetteville.

Five or six male suspects pulled up in a silver Dodge Challenger and entered through an open door in the garage, where the husband, wife, their daughter, and her friend were hanging out. They then forced the victims to move into the house, WRAL reported.

The suspects restrained the victims with duct tape before torturing them with kitchenware, Law & Crime reported.

It would help if you did a story on the Great Depression, the rationing of WW11, and what led up to both. Edwin and the people of our generation understand it. The generations after were never properly educated about it. Fee.org has great articles, but they don't truly bring to life the realities like you would. They tell facts, and you tell the stories as few others do. It is interesting to read them. And learn from them. Thank you Frederick for exposing yet another pyschotic madman. I studied Integrative Counselling in the 1990s, and gained a diploma after specialising in Humanistic Counselling, which I have found to be efficatious during my practice and working as a volunteer and manager with the Citizens Advice Bureau in UK.

Rogers, Skinner et al contributed to the concept of a person as a beautiful and pure spiritual being when entering this world but have suffered complex emotional distortions as they progress through childhood to adulthood. I have found that early years' trauma impacts the basic understanding of an individual's relationships in the real world, such as the fundamental issues of 'right and wrong'. A Christian will tell you that Jesus teaches everything necessary for everyone to find peace and serenity in a world torn apart by greed, hubris and all the other seven sins.

I can only quote Jesus when he says: "On this account I say to you: Stop being anxious about your lives as to what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your bodies as to what you will wear. Does not life mean more than food and the body than clothing? Observe intently the birds of heaven; they do not sow seed or reap or gather into storehouses, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth more than they are? Who of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his life span?

Also, why are you anxious about clothing? Take a lesson from the lilies of the field, how they grow; they do not toil, nor do they spin; but I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was arrayed as one of these. Now if this is how God clothes the vegetation of the field that is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much rather clothe you, you with little faith? So never be anxious and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or, ‘What are we to drink?’ or, ‘What are we to wear?’ For all these are the things the nations are eagerly pursuing. Y our heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

“Keep on, then, seeking first the Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added to you. So never be anxious about the next day, for the next day will have its own anxieties. Each day has enough of its own troubles."

Such words of comfort, and I am living proof that it "Works if you Work it!"

Blessings

Let me guess…he believed in “free sex,” meaning if it feels good, do it. That’s usually the basis for rejecting standard morals. Congratulations, we are there. Your truth is as valid as my truth, although your parents’ truth is not valid. Having children is too hard so we won’t have children. If you are having trouble, go to a therapist, not a priest or a parent or prayer. Only a therapist can straighten you out and save you.
