This adventure is made possible by a trip to the future in “The Time Tunnel.”
Introduction
In the not-so-distant future, a peculiar societal shift occurred. An unfettered discombobulation filled the world, and then it wained. The once-dominant WOKE ideology crumbled.1 Thus, a nationwide eye-roll replaced social justice warriors’ fervor. People recognized the dangers of its inherent laziness. This prompted an audacious decision: to establish the Museum of Wokeness. The museum is a testament to cogent thinking. It presents artifacts, slogans, and ideologies that once shaped cultural landscapes. The museum offers visitors a journey through the rise and fall of the WOKE movement. Yet, amidst the humor, the museum provides severe moments of reflection. It acknowledges the genuine desire for social progress that fueled the movement.
Meanwhile, the Environmental Movement Museum tells a different tale in another part of the same city. It speaks of unintended consequences and the damage caused by environmental ideology. A holographic Earth sets the tone for the journey as visitors enter. Misguided endeavors include the “Biofuel Boondoggle” and the “Wind Turbine Graveyard.” This museum also challenges visitors to consider the consequences of well-intentioned actions. It is a cautionary tale, urging society towards holistic, evidence-based solutions. These museums symbolize cultural evolution. They encourage humanity to learn from past mistakes and embrace a more balanced and sustainable path forward.
Willful Order Killing Entrepreneurship Museum
In the not-so-distant future, a peculiar societal shift canceled chronic brain fog in the citizenry. The time-honored notion of Willful Order Killing Entrepreneurship (WOKE) finally gave way. That ideology and the resulting addiction to addressing its needs with unlimited money caused the total economic crash of 2030. That black swan event exposed how this worldview made people uber-lazy and immoral. Out of the ashes arose a virtuous and hard-working society. Thus, the once ubiquitous concept of being WOKE had become a relic of the past, replaced by a societal eye-roll and a longing for a simpler time. The zeal of social justice warriors waned. They made an audacious decision: to create a museum dedicated to preserving the remnants of the WOKE era.
The Museum of Wokeness opened its doors to the public in a glorious testament to cogent thinking. It showcases a vivid display of artifacts, slogans, and ideologies that had once dominated the cultural landscape. Visitors wander through exhibits that chronicled the rise and fall of the WOKE movement. The presentations include protest signs and hashtag campaigns.
In the center of the museum stands a towering statue of an activist holding a smartphone, capturing the essence of the era’s digital activism. The plaque at its base reads, “The Selfie Savior: Capturing the Struggle, One Photo at a Time.” It is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the countless social media warriors who believed retweets could change the world.
The museum’s most famous exhibit is the “Hall of Microaggressions.” It is a room filled with tiny, innocuous objects. Exaggerated explanations of their alleged harmful impact accompanied them. Every mundane item, from a coffee mug with an offensive slogan to a Starbucks cup, gets its honored place. Things with mispronounced names get to some of the guests. They yelled for this exhibit to be elevated as a war crime against political correctness and ran away. Do not fret, though. Museum staff is on the case like white on rice to get therapy for the people traumatized by the Hall of Microaggressions.
Visitors stroll through the exhibits. They marvel at relics of when trigger warnings were as common as morning coffee. The “Safe Space Simulator” allows guests to experience the intensity of a protected environment. It has padded walls and soothing affirmations playing on a loop. While silly, it clearly shows the inane ecosystem of academia that, at one time, actually educated people.
The pièce de résistance is the “Intersectionality Carousel.” There, attendees can ride on rotating platforms representing various intersecting identities. It is a dizzying experience meant to convey the complexity of the social justice hierarchy. The Carousel from the motion picture Logan’s Run inspired this exhibit.
Despite the museum’s humorous take on the WOKE era, there are moments of serious reflection. The curators acknowledged the genuine desire for social progress that had fueled the movement. In one corner, a documentary plays on a loop. That feature includes interviews with former activists who had grown weary of the constant vigilance required to stay WOKE.
But wait, there is more. Visitors can partake in a particularly disgusting venue at the below-ground level of the museum. With the doors monitored by armed guards, only adults may enter. When exposed to children, society learns that certain things denigrate the world. Behind the doors marked “caution restricted entry,” adults will see a sign. It names this venue: “Collectivist Cauldron.” The main display of this venue focuses on the effigy of the 2022 Collectivist of the Year. Elevated to the “Collectivist of the Twenty-First Century,” the character behind this curtain gets to live again as a life-like AI robot. It, or he, gets to pontificate the desire to make all children wards of the state. The admission to the basement includes antacids and barf bags. An ample supply of wood spoons makes it easy to barf if needed.
As time passed, the Museum of Wokeness symbolized cultural evolution. People visit not to mock the past but to gain perspective on how societal attitudes changed. The once-woke generation has given way to a more nuanced understanding of social issues. The museum serves as a reminder of the importance of balance and persuasive thinking. Cognet thinking replaced warped WOKE primordial brain activity.
The museum preserves the relics of WOKE ideology in this future world. They were a testament to a bygone era when people believed they could change the world one woke tweet at a time.
Meanwhile, in another part of the same city ...
Environmental Movement Museum
After the crash of 2030, new technologies transformed energy production and use. Humanity stood at the edge of a groundbreaking era in energy production. Despite some positive advances in wind and solar, the world has surpassed the environmental Rubicon. Humankind finally broke the barrier that had long tied society to past environmental challenges.
Pioneering discoveries in fusion and the synthesis of petroleum from common waste marked a turning point. They ushered in an era of sustainable and limitless energy. Once a distant dream, fusion power became a reality as scientists unlocked the secrets of controlled nuclear fusion. Safe fusion reactors dot the landscape, providing clean and abundant energy to power entire cities. The synthetic petroleum derived from waste materials proved to be a game-changer. It is a clean energy source and a versatile raw material for various industries. These advances gave rise to an era of peace.
The Environmental Movement Museum is a testament to a bygone psychological operation in unstable times. That past held sway over hearts and minds. The museum tells this plight of humankind as a story of unintended consequences. It delves into the repercussions of the ideology once aimed at protecting the planet.
As visitors enter the grand foyer of the museum, a holographic representation of Earth greets them. Its thriving ecosystems bathe it in vibrant hues. The melancholic soundtrack sets the tone for a journey. It also transitions to show the well-intentioned but misguided endeavors of the past environmental movement.
The first exhibit is the “The Biofuel Boondoggle.” It takes visitors on a virtual tour of vast monoculture fields. These fields replaced diverse landscapes. Goofy green advocates hailed the biofuel industry as an alternative to fossil fuels. But, it transformed pristine habitats into endless expanses of GMO crops. That caused irreversible damage to biodiversity.
Moving forward, guests encounter “The Wind Turbine Graveyard.” It’s a haunting display of abandoned wind farms. They once symbolized a commitment to clean energy. The exhibit details the environmental toll and tallies the death toll to birds, whales, and dolphins. It displays the manufacturing, maintenance, and decommissioning of massive wind turbines. It shows that this process leaves landscapes scarred and wildlife displaced. Also on prominent display is a copy of Fred Smith’s essay Railroaded by Windmills.
A striking sculpture, “The Plastic Paradox,” looms tall. It highlights the unintended consequences of pushing to end single-use plastics. As plastic alternatives flooded the market, landfills overflowed with non-biodegradable materials. The production of “environmentally friendly” options led to new challenges. Visitors get a thorough education about the necessity of plastic. They learn about how plastics are made from biofuels to make such things as life-saving medical devices.
A unique display, “Fertilizer Focus,” gives visitors a 4D sensory experience. They enjoy the 3D sights, sounds, and smells of sweet-smelling fertilizers here. Visitors learn about how bio-fuels make up the vast majority of fertilizers. That makes growing and producing food for the world’s population possible.
As an added attraction, young and old visitors can interact with an old-fashioned whack-a-mole machine. This device uses the busts of elites like Gates, Schwabb, and Fauci. The grand prize comes to those who can wack the bust of Thomas Robert Malthus two times in a row. Besides a free life membership to the museum, the awardees get a special certificate. It shows that the elites used Climate Change Control of the Peoples to make money and enjoy the power of Population Control of the Peoples. The handheld wack pole has a very soft head so as not to inflict damage on the busts. That qualifying policy helps to mitigate the possibility of an FBI raid at the curator’s residence. He also changed his party affiliation to Democrat as an added shield.
The “Nuclear Energy Reckoning” exhibit presents a nuanced exploration in a darkened room. It shows why the environmental movement was hesitant to adopt nuclear power. Visitors learn about missed opportunities to harness a low-carbon energy source. That includes coal facilities that capture the carbon to make gypsum. Other byproducts get captured for industrial and transportation uses. They also learn about the enduring stigma that hindered progress towards a more sustainable future.
The museum’s centerpiece is a holographic forest titled “The Carbon Offsetting Mirage.” Once hailed as a panacea for carbon emissions, the exhibit unravels the reality behind offset projects. It highlights questionable practices such as land grabs. It shows the harmful fact of putrid public-private partnerships (PPPP or P4) perpetuating harmful practices. The display label includes a subtitle of “P4 = Fascism.” It tells the story of how the crummy WOKE corporations plunder. That is, they advertise a fake environmentally responsible mission statement. The underlying reality: P4.
As guests reach the final exhibit, they see “Reflections on Greenwashing.” They get to confront the uncomfortable truth that WOKE corporations exploited. Visitors get to the movement’s hidden agenda - profit. That led to a proliferation of misleading marketing campaigns. These campaigns undermined genuine environmental efforts.
The Environmental Movement Museum challenges visitors. They get to consider the long-term consequences of specific well-intentioned actions. It serves as a cautionary tale. It urges society to approach environmental challenges with a critical eye. It also calls for a commitment to holistic, evidence-based solutions.
In the future, this museum will serve as a testament to balance and foresight. It urges humanity to learn from past mistakes. It urges society to forge a more sustainable path. It encourages humanity to embrace faithful environmental stewardship, transcending the pitfalls of green ideology.
Conclusion
The societal evolution juxtaposes the Museum of Wokeness and the Environmental Movement Museum. They paint a vivid picture of a world once in flux. Ideologies once held high have given way to introspection and nuanced understanding. With its humorous take on the WOKE era, The Museum of Wokeness is a testament to the fleeting nature of cultural phenomena. Visitors do not mock the past. Instead, they seek a deeper understanding of how societal attitudes have changed. That marks a shift from zealous activism to a more balanced perspective.
The Environmental Movement Museum unravels the unintended consequences of a noble cause. It reminds us of the intricacies involved in saving the planet. As guests navigate through the exhibits, the exhibits challenge them. It confronts the reality of well-intentioned actions gone wrong. The museum becomes a symbol of foresight. It calls for holistic, evidence-based solutions to address environmental challenges.
Together, these museums serve as guardians of cultural memory. They urge humanity to learn from its past. They encourage society to embrace balance. They recommend humanity to navigate the complexities of progress with a critical eye. In the future, they stand not as relics of bygone eras but as beacons guiding society toward a more sustainable and enlightened path. That will transcend the pitfalls of crummy collectivist ideology.

“WOKE” comes from African American Vernacular English (AAVE). It means being aware of social and political issues, especially racial and social justice issues. Yet, over time, mainstream discourse has evolved and adopted the term.
In contemporary usage, “woke” generally refers to a heightened awareness of issues. These include racism, sexism, and other forms of social injustice. It is often associated with a commitment to challenging and addressing these issues. People described as woke seek to understand often nonexistent inequalities and injustices. They also work to rectify them.
Many use the term to describe excessive political correctness. It also describes ideological myopathy in discussions about social issues. In this context, “woke” can describe an ideology as hyper-progressive. It also focuses on those who have an unbearing concern with social justice issues.
You leave me speechless Frederick. This was like reading a Kurt Vonnegut short story. WELL DONE!
The wokies find a way to ruin everything.
