The wife of my immediate supervisor for most of my time where I worked was the daughter a German physicist who had worked on sonar. He and his family were brought over.

I really liked footnote 2 about "real" TVs and the story of the ball lightening. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to "bring back" a TV that had that happen to it today? 😏
