Well, I am fond of the man; but I wouldn't consider myself a Putin lover. I can appreciate his desire to take the Donbass region back after the 2014 coup. And I have also been subtly repeating the lie that Russia (with its Orthodox religion) is the last outpost and Alamo of Christianity as we were brought up to know it.
