Reviewing the details of the 1770 Boston Massacre, it gives us insight into the events of January 6, 2021. Today, we see our Constitution as a bloody remnant.
Excellent history lesson. Skillful connection of then and now and the similarities. Same theme though. You have to stand for what is right no matter what.
Mark August, a Pennsylvania dad expecting his first grandchild and facing up to six months in prison for illegally entering the U.S. Capitol during the January 6 riot, has died by his own hand. The 47-year-old August was to be sentenced September 27 by federal Judge Reggie Walton. He had pleaded guilty last month to a single charge of demonstrating or parading in a restricted building. https://www.dailywire.com/news/pennsylvania-dad-facing-prison-time-for-entering-capitol-on-jan-6-dies-by-suicide
On point, neatly tied into what is happening today. Bannon was found quilty of a Dumb crime NO democrat has been found guilty of, and they have gotten away literally with MURDER, Treason, fraud, vote buying. Insider Trading and more. Not that Republicans haven't been guilty of the same things. Democrats are very rarely punished for it, a few on city, county, or state level is more feasible that at the Federal level. Where Rino's, like Romney 'Mittens', 'Linda' Graham side with them.
Frederick will you follow up your Founders articles with one on the Ladies of the Revolutionary War? They did play their part. I learned stuff never taught. So many Seniors think they are incapable of fighting for our Republic. You can be active without physically fighting. I'm 74 next month, my method is research of news, and a good memory. And a ton of saved articles. Thus a Keyboard Warrior. But I have other non high active skills. Women nor Seniors are as weak as they think. Show me how, if I don't know. I move slower, but it gets done.
I'm seeing many more articles on missing meals, homes, jobs, what I don't see is what they gave up to help themselves. That one I know, as my youngest at 41 with a wife 1 daughter don't give up what I call unnecessary luxuries. We had no safety nets back when my boys were growing up. Grandparents were the babysitters on school days off. Fed us on the weekend, Mom always had a garden she canned from. And food was home cooked, not from a store or restaurant. Which are closing in high crime areas. Or just closing as fewer people eat out. We would have for Hub's BD, instead I got a pot roast for the crockpot, we ate off it all week as I added more types of veggies.
Nor do I buy MADE IN CHINA JUNK, if I can help it. I don't need it that badly.
There were more, no history is complete without Molly Pitcher. Or the ladies who took over running homesteads. Less is known about them. It was like in WW2, women went to work, flew planes. Most of the articles focus on Abigail Adams. Many were just ordinary women who were ignored as fluff, who passed info over heard or were spies.
I learned things I wasn't taught in school. Most of it was in the now defunct encyclopedias. You made it interesting to read.

Abigal Adams was a great!
Gail - YES! There are many to write about and will do some research and pick one.
