It was a mission to bring German scientists, engineers and technicians from Nazi Germany to the United States. The aim was to keep these scientists from falling into the hands of the Soviet Union and to gain access to their research and technological secrets.
The operation was highly controversial in its secrecy and the failure to properly investigate the backgrounds of the scientists and the potential use of the technology they brought with them. There were also concerns that some of the scientists may have been involved in war crimes. The United States government was quick to deny these allegations.

Thanks for this. I now understand where Joel Skousen gets his thunder. The communist plans are quite near completion or at least by the looks of everything. Unfortunately with their infiltration into every corner of things it looks like there will be little chance of reversal to the process. It’s damn near impossible to congregate in any meaningful way without someone from pro communist cult reporting the communications and the communicators to the corrupt authorities. Believe me I have lost many nights sleep to worrying about all these things. Perplexing to say the least.
You are not the only one, I have nightmares. My generation watched Soylent Green, and read 1984, Atlas Shrugged. Never thought we'd see a second Great Depression. And Fred educated me beyond what was taught. Maybe I should have said Controlled, but the Feds act like they OWN THE LAND AND RIGHTS. 30% OF THE US LAND MASS IS OWNED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. I'd like to see a Subtack on the dangers of Fast Food, most of it fried in artery-clogging oils. I'm living that nightmare now, my 52 yr old son has a Qaud-Bypass on March 30th, and it is a very rushed one. From the first ER visit to the Cardio to the Surgeon. Even State Medicaid was rushed Age discrimination 40 yr number meant fewer quality jobs, then lower quality. He didn't choose to live on the Fast Food, he Assitant managed, it became a necessity to pay rent, utilities, and car/health ins. As a single male with child support to pay for 1 child, he is treated differently than females with kids under 18. She got DSSI in 8 months. A junkie and a thief of DSSI Funds. With No job, no ins. No safety nets, not even UE. Handed a $22K ER hospital bill he'll never be able to pay. While Illegals are given what he needs.
I first read this book in 1994 and not surprisingly, have found it spot on.
We perhaps didn't see the long range view clearly enough. At least till we studied the defector literature such as "New Lies for the Old."

Note that Golitsyn does not discuss war between the two, in his three scenarios above.
An excellent book, with a 97% "prediction" rating, cause they're not predictions. He knew that these events would occur.
