Your work is so inspiring and this no less so. Figures like Betsy Ross were heroic. We work to defeat and demean the history of our heroes at our peril.

My grocery store trip looked liked post lock down. Empty shelves. Except the HEARING DESTRUCTION MUSIC IS NOW KROGER HQ CONTROLLED. This little town of 7K has one grocery store, nothing else can really compete with. But if they are all like this, I'll have to go into my reserves much sooner than planned. I can't afford to go DEAF! To old for a Cochlear Implant, takes a few years to learn to use, ins doesn't cover it and $90K is out of financial reach. I'm the main driver. No services out here in the boonies. Spotty WiFi, trying to drive you to 5 G global.

Great job enlightening us. If people knew more about our Founders and the other people in our history like Betsy Ross they would begin to appreciate what was given to them and how much it cost. Then get off their asses and do something to keep it!

So much of our failure today is a result of free education - operated by and for the government. A people cannot survive without knowledge of their own true history. Free education - like the possibility of freedom itself being free is a misnomer. Nothing worth having is ever free - and I do not mean free in terms of money.

Betsy Ross is well known, or so we thought. my friend Frederick R. Smith is a historic storyteller. I hope you will find this chapter on the Women of the Revolutionary War fascinating and moving, and learn things we were not taught. There is much, much more to Betsy Ross than a simple seamstress who was chosen to make our New Nation's first Flag. But Fredrick brings it up today with his story. Be sure to watch the Videos. His first three chapters started on the 4th of July, Independence Day. I asks what role did women play, as they were varied and often dangerous. He chose Betsy Ross as his first Woman of the Revolutionary War. ENJOY!

Betsy Ross and the women who supported the revolution are heroines. There are tales in our family history of women who cleared out traitors and tories from local areas single-handedly. These were no shrinking violets.

The next essay about the Founding Mothers will be Marta Washington. Stary tuned as a couple posts about other topics might come out first.

The flag and our country mean so much to me. I fly it proudly on my front lawn. I appreciate the in depth history and the time you took to write this essay. I always get chills when they play the anthem and the flag gets raised with an Olympic gold and especially when Jim McKay was the broadcaster. Don’t think it means the same to some of the athletes. 🥲

The baby food industry through lobbying is poisoning our children. Nestlé who was bought out by a big conglomerate is putting arsenic and other poisons in our baby food the FDA allows this. https://rumble.com/v1gy8et-proof-they-are-poisoning-our-children.html?mref=6zof&mrefc=2

Which means adult food too.

I remember when I spanked my 3 yr old in a Kmart store for climbing out of his seat, as I turned my back and ran off faster that I could track him under clothes racks, scared me to death, more noise than actual light blows, the police were at my door shortly after I got home, some goody 2 shoe reported it, NOT 1 BRUISE. Officer laughed, and said sorry we have to check these reports. Morals no longer exist.

Wow! There is so much history of our great country many of us never knew, learned, or just plain forgot over the years. Great essay!

Even though a few today view our flag as racist, I believe it is a tiny percentage of Americans.

The rub may be the large scale of immigrants flying their country's flag.

Excellent piece; I treasure historical events that shaped our country. Well done!

When you decide to become a US Citizen, dual citizenship should be given up.

The trouble is most are NOT US CITIZENS.

If you are Military stationed overseas where your family can go with you, any child born on a Military base, gets 1) US BC, 2) a Foreign country, 3) US Embassy, along with a passport; thus has dual citizenship, One has to be renounced at 18.

I just finished watching Robert's Podcast on Fauci departure. It's everything we've been saying.

I did learn a lot. The strong ladies of history always fascinated me. Florence Nightingale, Madame Curie, Phyllis Schlafly is my heroine.

Question did the Historic Land Acts that opened up the West, ever sunset or get removed from Legislation that creating them?
